Shivnet Inc. provides IT asset disposition (ITAD), device repairs and IT services for businesses. On every job, large or small, we aim for the same three things: a clear plan, careful work and straight answers.

Where We Began
Shivnet Inc. was founded in 1999 in Ontario, California. More than 25 years later we remain USA based and operated, and the work centers on business IT equipment: retiring it, keeping it working and deploying it.
Three Service Lines for the Same Equipment
ITAD retires equipment with documented data wiping, a serialized audit report and value back from what can be resold. Repairs keep laptops, desktops, tablets and phones in service through component and board-level repair and refurbishing. IT services put devices into use with imaging and deployment, warehousing and inventory, and on-site services.
Because one company handles all three lines, a laptop we deployed can later come back for repair and, at the end, be retired with its data accounted for.

The PCs we refurbish, laptops and desktops alike, are reloaded with genuine Windows before they leave us.
Two of our services refurbish PCs, and the reload applies in both: your own laptops and desktops refurbished through the repair service, and PCs refurbished for resale through ITAD.

How every job starts and what happens to equipment that fails or retires.
Agree First, Then Act
Every job starts with an email to [email protected]. You tell us what equipment is involved and what you need done, and we reply by email to agree the scope and the schedule. No pickup, shipment or site visit takes place until that is settled, and the work is then done as agreed.
Repair Before Replacing
A failed screen, keyboard, battery, hinge, port or motherboard is repaired at component or board level, so one fault does not have to mean a new device. When you want a unit brought up to a higher specification, refurbishing cleans it and upgrades its RAM or SSD before it goes back to its user.
Recover Value at Retirement
Retired equipment is tested, and what still has resale value is refurbished as needed and resold. The value comes back to you in one of two ways. With buyback, Shivnet purchases the equipment from you. With revenue share, Shivnet sells it and you receive part of the proceeds.

Every drive in the equipment we retire is erased by software to the NIST 800-88 method before the device leaves us.

Every asset retired through ITAD is recorded by serial number, and the outcome for each one is reported to you when the job closes.

Do you handle equipment types that are not listed on the site?
The ITAD page lists the equipment the service covers, from phones to data center equipment. Repairs cover laptops, desktops, tablets and phones only. For another type of equipment, describe it in your email and we will confirm whether we can take it on.
Can we use one service without the others?
Yes. A repair batch, a deployment or an ITAD pickup can each be a job on its own, agreed by email like any other. The three lines are combined only when you ask for more than one.
Can one job combine ITAD, repairs and IT services?
Yes. When an office moves, on-site services can de-install and relocate the equipment that stays in use while ITAD retires what does not. A deployment can be planned alongside the retirement of the devices it replaces, and faulty devices that are staying in service can be sent in for repair at the same time. Describe everything in one email and we will agree the scope for each part.
